On May 25th, Les Olson Jewelers had the incredible honor of attending the Miss Florida USA and Miss Florida Teen USA pageant at the beautiful Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. The evening was filled with grace, intelligence, and extraordinary talent as many exceptional women took the stage, each with a dream and a purpose.
From this unforgettable night, two remarkable women emerged victorious: Lou Schieffelin, crowned Miss Florida USA, and Keira Morehead, crowned Miss Florida Teen USA. These women stood out not only for their poise and beauty but also for their strength, passion, and commitment to representing Florida with pride. They will go on to compete on the national stage at Miss USA and Miss Teen USA in Los Angeles—an incredible milestone in their journeys.
Meet Miss Florida USA 2025: Lou Schieffelin
This year’s Miss Florida USA, Lou Schieffelin, proudly represented Palm Beach Island with elegance, confidence, and a powerful sense of purpose. At 24, Lou brings a unique blend of experience and ambition to the title. A professional model of over 16 years, she’s also working toward becoming a pilot—proving that beauty and determination go hand in hand. With deep family roots in Florida’s ranching legacy, she carries the spirit of the Sunshine State wherever she goes.
Lou’s journey with the Miss Universe Organization began in 2018 when she was crowned Miss Florida Teen USA. That experience shaped her values and inspired her drive to reach even higher. After placing in the Top 10 at Miss Teen USA, she returns to the national stage with a mission to earn Florida its first-ever Miss USA crown. Lou is admired not just for her accomplishments, but for her grounded heart, resilient spirit, and passion for service. She is a true role model for young women across the state.
Meet Miss Florida Teen USA 2025: Keira Morehead
At just 18 years old, Keira Morehead stepped into the spotlight as Miss Florida Teen USA with poise and heartfelt purpose. A lifelong Floridian from Windermere, Keira credits the state’s cultural richness and community spirit for shaping the confident and compassionate young woman she is today.
Keira is deeply committed to making others feel seen and heard. Through her own life experiences and challenges, she’s developed a sincere desire to support those who may be struggling with loneliness or self-doubt. Her core values—authenticity, empathy, and staying true to herself—guide her as she steps into this leadership role. She hopes her journey encourages other young women to embrace their individuality and speak up for what matters. Keira is honored to represent Florida at Miss Teen USA, and she’s ready to make her mark on the national stage.
Crowning Moments with Les Olson Jewelers
For Les Olson Jewelers, this event was more than just a night in the spotlight. It marked the beginning of another meaningful chapter in our continued partnership with the Miss Florida USA organization. We are currently in the process of designing custom crown rings for both Lou and Keira—pieces that will celebrate their achievements and symbolize the elegance, strength, and individuality they bring to their titles.
Representing Les Olson Jewelers at the pageant were Rob Shinsky, the designer behind the official Miss Florida USA crown rings, and his daughter Rebecca, proudly continuing the family’s legacy of craftsmanship and creativity.
